This straightener not only takes the frizz out of my hair, it leaves my hair so straight and healthy looking. You just have to make sure to take caution when heating up the brush as well as cooling down. The brush gets extremely hot so be careful and also make sure to not only turn off the the brush but to also unplug when not in use. This product takes a little bit longer to cool so make sure the back is cooled down completely before storing.

As a person who used to get rackets from age 4-17 and had been natural for 4yrs, I cannot tell you what a sight it was to see my hair so straight. Now, although it is not bone straight to your scalp it does get it straight enough. I did however find the temperature hard to figure out and had to make a few pass overs and it was harder to straighten one side then the other, but I do have really thick hair so hey, it is what it is. I have thicker hair and transitioning and what I’ve noticed is that I have to take thin sections at a time or it has a hard time going through the strands (which is very time consuming). I love this straightener so much. Straightening my 4c hair is a task! Usually, I have to stretch my hair from wet with a blow dryer, section, and flat iron. It can take up to 3 hours because I have chronic pain and mobility issues. With this “hot comb” I can skip the stretching step and finish my whole head in 30-45 minutes. As long as my hair is dry, detangled, and adequately moisturized and heat protected with a serum, I can go to right to straightening. I appreciate the digital temp display and the auto shut off. I think it does a good job of getting close to the roots but some people might want to go in with a flat iron after. It’s easy to get a nice flip under but there is a learning curve for getting proper curls and waves. A curling iron or flat iron would be easier. I love this so much.
